SP - Food Court 1 Westen Food

One of the few dishes you cant go wrong with. westen food.
This 1 right here is the chicken chop from food court 1.

French fries were not very crispy, I felt that it was 3/4 done
The bread was standard loaf with butter in the middle., instead of a bun.

Chicken was quite oily but had nice brown texture to it
meat seemed tough, but meal was filling and the Sauce was over diluted.

2.5 / 5

Chinese Mutton Soup

Since most food court in SP sells pretty much the same stuffs. Seeing a 'Yang Rou Tang' stall in FC 1 made my stomach calling out to me to try it. Having no second thoughts I chose to go with the yellow noodles in the soup, instead of the usual rice accompanying soup combination.

The soup was actually very good. It was smooth and savoury.

What's really good here is they are generous with the use of small tender pieces of mutton and 'tau pok'.
While most importantly its actually not as oily as some other places, which made me finished the whole bowl! 4.25/5

Foodcourt 1!

Our group went to Foodcourt 1 on the 18th of November. I chose the Muslim Food stall, and ordered Mee Rebus.

  • The gravy was thick and spicy, typical of Muslim food.
  • There were beansprouts, one hardboiled egg, and noodles at the price of $1.80.
  • The noodles were pretty chewy.
It would be nice if they could make the egg hardboiled, but with a runny yolk. To conclude, I havn't eaten much Muslim cuisine, but I feel the dish was on overall, nice. On a scale of 5, I'd give it a 3.25
